Arsenal and Chelsea battle for free transfer Premier League title

The Germany international is currently on contract at the Allianz Arena, meaning he is attracting plenty of interest ahead of his potential free agency next summer.

According to Fichajes, Arsenal and Chelsea are both interested in Sané, while Premier League side Newcastle United could also be in the race for the former Manchester City man, who is likely to return to England.

Sané has performed well for Bayern, but he may find himself more of an automatic starter elsewhere, with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea certainly benefiting from bringing in a player of his caliber.

Leroy Sane move to Arsenal or Chelsea could make sense

Sane has already shown his ability in the Premier League, winning titles as a key player for Manchester City early in his career, and it’s easy to see him playing a big role in the future success of the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea.

The Gunners arguably lack depth behind star Bukayo Saka, while Sane’s versatility could also mean he can rotate with the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, while some Fans even think that he will become an upgraded version of these players no matter what.

At the same time, the 28-year-old could also add some much-needed experience to a young Chelsea side, even if they have recently signed a number of similar attacking players.

Noni Maduk is playing well but remains inexperienced and inconsistent, while the jury is still out on signings such as Jadon Sancho and Mihailo Mudric.
